This landscape design aims to transform a rare building site into a beautiful and charming landmark that will attract people to stop by and enjoy it. The project is located in the 14th rezoning area of Taichung, Taiwan. As the area will be planned to be a landmark building in the future, the team deliberately brought the natural greenery and the traditional Chinese element "Ruyi" into the unrefined lot, symbolizing the rich living function and the "promising future" of the base.
After some ingenious ideas and delicate planning, the team adopted the design concept of "jadeite diamond" and "waterscape inkstone". First, the lines of Ruyi decoration are taken as the appearance of the landmark. The mound of earth is used to create the elevation of the terrain, and then the lawn is used to cover the mound of earth to create the image of a green mound. In the waterscape, the cloud-shaped curves are stacked with masonry. The waterscape is green like a diamond, and the outer frame outlined by the Ruyi lines is like an inkstone, quietly grinding the greenest ink for the city.
