Using floor material as the simple boundary of different spaces, the public space is separated into two. One of them uses Italian floor tiles that stretch from the entrance to the private area, while the other one is island-style solid wooden floor that connects the living room with the study. As for other spaces that are connected with the study, glass compartments were used. This not only marks clear boundary between different spaces, but also gives residents a small place for themselves in which they can be at ease.
The overall color tone of this project is light wooden surface in coordination with colorless coordination. Large areas of blank walls and the white cupboards present a simple and neat visual enjoyment in coordination with fresh and warm wooden pattern textures. Light gray fair-faced concrete paint used at the main TV wall and light gray Italian floor tiles used at the public area not only emphasizes its area, but also serves at the paint of the neutral space, creating balance for colors of different spaces.
