The design objective was to enhance the visual appeal of the clinic, as conventional medical centers tend to have a somber and dreary ambiance that induces uneasiness and anxiety in patients. To conquer this challenge, the designers opted for a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that resembled the concept of "home." Additionally, the team developed a verdant zone within the setback space outside the clinic, which can be observed through the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows, offering patients a serene and calming vista. These modifications have had a significant impact on reducing patient anxiety levels during the wait for medical treatment.
The clinic’s interior space is designed with the predominance of female clientele in mind. The layout features pinkish colors as the primary spatial axis. To set itself apart from traditional Chinese medicine clinics, the furniture is decorated in a Japandi style, with bold and colorful configurations selected for a warm and lively home-like atmosphere, ensuring patients feel relaxed while waiting for treatment. Display cabinets serve the purpose of keeping the area open, allowing light and sight lines to flow without obstruction.
