The designer focuses on maximizing the living function by linking all the areas through a "loop" to create a "corridor" living style. The routes of the entrance, living room, and dining room are all "loops", which are connected in an open plan.
Within the limited space, the designer takes the "cabinet as wall" design to create a smooth and spacious living space, redefining the functionality of the home and taking care of storage. The theme of the space is wood, and the wood grain of the cabinets on both sides of the living room elevates the visual layers.
In recent years, the open kitchen in new buildings often has the Feng-Shui taboo of "opening the door and seeing the stove". The designer places the two-way cabinet between the dining room and the foyer. One side of the cabinet can hold pots, pans, and appliances, while the other side faces the door to store shoes, umbrellas, keys, and other items, solving the disadvantage of an open kitchen in terms of Feng-Shui and satisfying the storage of different areas.
